Weekly Post: Water

Hi everyone!
In this week's post, we decided to write only about water.
Here, are some tips to save water at home:


- Only use the dishwasher when you have a full load
- When washing dishes by hand, don't wash them under a running tap. Instead, fill the sink with water and use it to wash all the dishes!
- Don't use runnning water to defrost frozen food, Place it on the refrigerator the day before!
- Verify if your home is leak-free, many homes have hidden water leaks!
- Avoid flushing the toilet unnecessarily
- Store a bottle with drinking water in your refrigerator, instead of letting the tap run everytime you want to drink
- Encourage your school system, local government, friends, family, etc. To care about saving water!

Some Useful Tips

Ok, so, every week I will try to write a post with every-day tips to be more environmentaly friendly. Here are some:


Saving water:

-Don't leave the tap running while washing your hands and teeth
-Have a short shower instead of having a bath
-Fill the washing machine before turning it on
- Collect rain water for your plants
- If you have car, stop washing it

Saving Energy:

-Turn your electronical devices off when you are not using them
-Unplug phone chargers, computer chargers etc. when you are not using them
-


Reducing Polution:

-When you go shopping, take your own paper bags with you, plastic bags are one of the most poluting things in the world!
- Recycle! It's easy and will help the environment!
- Use rechargable bateries
